Description
This belt was first created as a custom order by an instructor who had a long relationship with Iwata Shokai.Due to its popularity and multiple requests from our customers for the same style, with the permission of the original buyer, we have made it part of our regular catalog.
Width: 7.5 cm/ 6cm
Straight Stitch (cinching): Approximately 50 cm on each side. 4 rows of 2 straight-stitches at equal intervals. 20 lines.
Material: Black cotton. Same fabric as our black hakama.
Same heavy black cotton fabric as our black hakama.
Both sides of the belt for approximately 50cm are softer than the other part(by reducing stitches).
The center part is reinforced with multiple straight stitches for durability but it is easy to tie(finish tying) because of these softer edges.
Can be tied like a standard belt but offers more support.
Widths of 7.5 cm and 6 cm are available. The 6 cm is recommended for slender builds and women with narrow flat waists.
Please select the belt size using the following method.
For 7.5 cm width: Waist Size x 2 + 70 cm
For 6 cm width: Waist Size x 2 + 60 cm
